RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY

Restorative dentistry works to replace missing teeth or fix broken teeth, giving back your perfect smile. Read more about the procedures below:

  • Teeth fillings: fillings are a long-term solution to damage left behind by cavities or tooth decay. They can also fill cracks and cover discolouration. The colour of the filling can be matched to your natural tooth colour.
  • A missing tooth can lead to problems resulting in malalignment of neighbouring teeth in the long run. A bridge replaces the missing tooth helps to stop this problem from happening.
  • A crown is a restoration that covers, or "caps," a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and size, strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Crowns are necessary when a tooth is badly broken down and when there isn't enough of the tooth remaining to provide support for a large filling. If a tooth is cracked, a crown holds the tooth together to seal the cracks so the damage doesn't get worse. Crowns are also used to protect weak teeth from fracturing, restore fractured teeth or cover badly shaped or discolored teeth.
